I had a client that wanted to create a button for their sidebar to advertise a new program.  I started with this tutorial: Simple web 2.0 Banner

I was able to do this tutorial up until the point that they asked to create a new layer with a Radial Gradient: white to transparent. I didn’t know whether I was supposed to create another badge shape with the radial gradient??

One of my goals this year is to get more comfortable using Photoshop.  I started with Fireworks and it is so easy to revert back when I can’t figure something out in PS.

I took this photo on vacation in Florida.  We were visiting Lighthouse Point Park in Ponce Inlet and came upon this momma heron with her baby.

I used this tutorial to create pencil sketch version of the photo below.
