Serendipity is defined as a happy, chance occurrence. DJ’s gently thrown gauntlet in establishing this site with its attendant creative challenge comes at a perfect time. I’ve a tendency to become too spread out, too distracted, interested in a million things. Meanwhile, time clicks by and creative
output remains close to nil (for what’s in your head, or what you
intend to do, count for naught).
My hope is that this time each day will prompt me to work through a backlog of graphic software tutorials that I keep meaning to get to.
In my business life I’m a web developer (both privately and in a government agency). I will, in 2010, pick up my fine art tools again and have a stack of horrible, wonderful sketches and oil paintings to smile over this time next year.
